Mr. Kasahara is Principal Transport Specialist at Asian Development Bank, where he is responsible for various transport projects in Asia and the Pacific. He is being engaged in maritime transport projects in Pacific Island countries, including Nauru and Tuvalu. Before joining ADB in 2012, he served the Japanese Government for 18 years, including more than 10 years in charge of port and maritime transport. A civil engineer with Bachelor’s degree holding Master’s degree in Public Policy.
