All conference sessions, including meals, will be taking place at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre — a very short walk from either the Coast Hotel Nanaimo (about two blocks) or the Courtyard by Marriott Nanaimo (across the street). First, getting to Nanaimo…
A short distance from Vancouver, there are numerous ways to get to Nanaimo. Tourism Nanaimo provides a comprehensive guide for travel: Getting Here & Around Nanaimo – Tourism Nanaimo. Options include flying into Vancouver International Airport and then either taking a smaller plane (or helicopter) directly to Nanaimo, renting a car and catching a ferry; or heading down to the Vancouver Waterfront to take the Hullo Passenger Ferry, float plane or Helijet. Victoria International Airport is also an option albeit with more limited fly-in options.
Hotels: Two options…
