Michael Legler is a Transportation Planner for the Federal Emergency Management Agency focusing on the Pacific Region. He retired from the US Army in 2013, after serving 29 years as an enlisted parachute rigger and logistics officer. His last military assignment was as the Director of Logistics for the Pacific Theater Sustainment Command in Hawaii. Prior to coming to FEMA, he worked was a Realtor on Oahu and Director of Overseas Agencies for an international shipping company. He has a master’s degree in economics from Oklahoma University, enjoys fishing, coin collecting and lives in Hawaii (because his wife says so).
