Jamie is a seasoned executive in the maritime industry, possessing over 40 years of combined experience in the naval and ferry and port industries. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge regarding the implementation of project management principles to maritime assignments.

He has a proven track record of leading marine-related projects. His decades of work in maritime organizations have granted him a nuanced understanding of the marine industry, along with aiding in his capabilities as a specialist in ports.

Currently with Colliers Project Leaders, Jamie is involved with many marine projects including the Electrification of Toronto Ferries Jack Layton Ferry terminal, Halifax Regional Municipality high speed passenger only ferries and terminals and the Port of Churchill renewal.

Jamie has overseen numerous complex assignments, from successfully managing over 35 vessels on 25 routes to overseeing the acquisition and retrofitting of a new, improved fleet of vessels, a testament to his considerable knowledge of the marine industry. Jamie also oversaw the creation of a 145-car LNG Salish-class ferry in Poland, handling all logistics and communications with stakeholders. He is a valuable resource for any maritime or port-related project.

He also contributed as chair and director to several boards, such as the Canadian Ferry Association, Pacific Pilotage Authority and the Association of BC Marine Industries.
